(RMC) welcomed representatives from the Asian Institute of Artificial Intelligence (AIAI) for a strategic presentation showcasing emerging opportunities in artificial intelligence, microcredentials, and globally recognized professional certification programs.
The presentation was led by Dr. Dennis Layug, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Institute of Artificial Intelligence, together with Mr. Jeffrey Peters, who introduced a range of educational innovations designed to strengthen institutional capacity and prepare learners for the demands of the rapidly evolving digital economy.
Among the major highlights of the presentation were the Microcredentials and Professional Certification Programs, which provide flexible, competency-based learning pathways that enable students, faculty members, and professionals to acquire industry-relevant skills and internationally aligned certifications. The discussion also featured NUADU AI, an innovative artificial intelligence platform that supports modern teaching and learning, as well as the My EduScape Teacher Education Partnership, an initiative aimed at enhancing teacher preparation through technology-driven instruction, professional development, and future-ready pedagogical practices.
The presentation emphasized the growing importance of integrating artificial intelligence into higher education, not only to enrich classroom instruction but also to strengthen graduate employability, lifelong learning, faculty development, and institutional competitiveness in an increasingly global educational landscape.
