Twenty (20) students of The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. – School of Law, under the guidance and supervision of Atty. Philip John L. Pojas, formally took their oath as Level 1 and Level 2 Certified Law Student Practitioners before Hon. Judge Rowena Apao-Adlawan of RTC Branch 13, Davao City, on May 20, 2026.
Pursuant to Rule 138-A of the Rules of Court, this certification authorizes qualified law students, under the supervision of a duly authorized lawyer, to engage in limited legal practice through the Clinical Legal Education Program (CLEP). This allows students to apply their legal training to actual cases, assist in legal aid, client counseling, and other law-related work, while cultivating competence, professional responsibility, and a genuine commitment to public service and access to justice.
