Last February 27, 2026, at the Covered Court of Brgy. 22-C, the Tambayan Center for Children’s Rights, Inc. celebrated its 30th Anniversary with the theme “Defending Dreams and Protecting Lives.” From 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, the event brought together partners and the community in a meaningful celebration highlighted by a multi-faith prayer, inspirational messages, engaging performances by the IDOL Theater Group, and educational sessions on child protection and rights. The celebration also featured free legal services, food distribution and meals, as well as fun activities such as Palarong Pinoy and a photo booth.
This initiative was made possible through the support of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO), Barangay 76-A, Rizal Memorial Colleges Legal Aid, Family Planning Organization of the Philippines, MONDE Nissin, Rise Against Hunger Philippines (RAHP), and KINASANG-AN FDN. With the dedicated service of 12 supervising lawyers and 21 Law Student Practitioners (LSPs), legal assistance was extended to the community through notarial services, legal advice under the supervision of newly licensed attorneys, and assistance in the preparation of judicial affidavits.
