The event gathered business educators, administrators, and industry practitioners from across the country to explore innovations in business education and the growing importance of microcredentials in preparing learners for a rapidly evolving global environment.
RMCโs delegation was led by Dr. Janine Sato-Betonio, Dean of the College of Business Administration and Past President of the Professional Council of Deans in Business (PCDEB). Her long-standing involvement and leadership in the organization reflect her commitment to academic excellence and the advancement of business education in the Philippines. She was joined by Professor Demi Sevilla-Claros, who likewise represented RMC in the various conference sessions, workshops, and collaborative activities.
During the conference, Dr. Betonio had the honor of introducing Dr. Conrado E. Inigo Jr., Past President and Founding President of PCDEB. Dr. Inigo is a distinguished academic leader whose vision, dedication, and steadfast commitment have significantly strengthened business education across the country. His leadership continues to inspire business educators to uphold integrity, strengthen moral and professional values, and pursue meaningful innovation in business education.
On the second day of the event, PCDEB Officers and Past Presidents also initiated a tree-planting activity at the PCDEB Tree Planting Site in Iwahig Penal Colony, underscoring the organizationโs commitment to environmental stewardship and community engagement. This initiative further highlighted the councilโs advocacy for holistic development one that extends beyond academic excellence to social responsibility and sustainable action.
The participation of RMCโs representatives underscores the institutionโs dedication to staying at the forefront of emerging educational trends and strengthening its academic programs through active involvement in national professional organizations. Insights gained from the conference are expected to support curriculum enhancements, research initiatives, and the collegeโs mission of producing competent, values-driven, and future-ready business graduates.
A certificate of participation was formally issued on December 5, 2025, in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan.
