In its ongoing mission to promote student well being, Rizal Memorial Colleges hosted its Mental Health Awareness Festival, themed โ๐๐๐๐๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐: ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ ๐จ๐ ๐๐๐ซ๐,โ on November 14, 2025. The program opened with reflective audiovisual presentations of the Prayer, National Anthem, and Davao Hymn. This was followed by an inspiring message from ๐๐ฌ๐ฒ๐๐ก๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ซ๐ค ๐๐จ๐ก๐ง ๐๐๐ซ๐ ๐๐ฏ๐๐ซ๐, who stressed the importance of fostering safe spaces on campus. The atmosphere of openness and support that the event sought to cultivate was solidified by an active Open Forum. This segment immediately followed the speakers’ discussions, allowing students to participate actively, ask specific questions, and express their thoughts directly to the mental health professionals, strengthening the culture of transparency and support. Following the student engagement, recognition and gratitude were expressed. Certificates of Appreciation were then awarded by the Guidance Personnel, recognizing individuals who consistently promote mental health awareness within the institution.
