On February 11, 2026, the RMC Library Department conducted a special orientation to ensure that teachers learn to command new digital tools and updates regarding the school library. The event was greeted with warm opening words from Ms. Rhona Taboada, who set the mood at the beginning of the session. One of the key points was the revision of the online library system, which is now making it possible to find a book and resources quicker than ever. The teachers were also provided with practical training on the EBSCO library which is an excellent database that allows access to thousands of academic journals and research papers globally. These online improvements make sure that the faculty possesses the most optimal means of facilitating their instruction and career development.
The Vice President of the Academic Affairs, Dr. Alminda M. Fernandez, delivered a motivating message regarding the contribution of the library to contemporary education during the event. She pointed out that an effective library system is the backbone of the school but it really takes off through the management of the teachers. Faculty members are intermediaries between information and wisdom by using these resources and encouraging their students to do the same. The orientation ended with a common agreement to make the library a focal point of learning where it was revealed that as much as technology will evolve, the role of a teacher to guide students in the path of knowledge will be more relevant than ever.
