CCJE Leads Successful Clean-Up Drive for 2nd Criminology Profession Week

The College of Criminal Justice Education (CCJE) of Rizal Memorial Colleges, together with the Criminology Interns CL SIDLAK LAYA, successfully conducted a Clean-Up Drive on November 8, 2025, in celebration of the 2nd Criminology Profession Week. The activity took place within the communities of Barangay 8-A, Barangay 9-A, and Barangay Talomo, with the aim of promoting environmental cleanliness, civic responsibility, and active community participation.

The event was held under the leadership of Dr. Noel R. Ponsaran, Dean of the College of Criminal Justice Education, and with the guidance of Julito P. Ladion, Emily D. Estorba, and Christelle Marie S. Cruspero. Through their supervision and support, the activity was well organized and effectively implemented. Criminology interns worked hand in hand to clean the surroundings, collect waste, and ensure the areas were properly maintained.

This initiative reflected the core values of the criminology profession—discipline, teamwork, and service to the community. It also strengthened the bond between the CCJE department and the local barangay officials, fostering collaboration for a cleaner and safer environment.

Overall, the Clean-Up Drive was a successful and meaningful activity that embodied the true essence of the 2nd Criminology Profession Week, reminding everyone that being a criminologist goes beyond law enforcement—it also involves dedication to community service and environmental responsibility.
