Led by expert speakers Dr. Felix Chavez Jr. and Dr. Liza Suan, the training emphasized essential ethical principles and guidelines designed to protect the rights and well-being of research participants. It also covered the roles and responsibilities of the Research Ethics Committee (REC), as well as the procedures for REC establishment and accreditation.
