Transition Plan for The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. and Rizal Special Education Learning Center
For continuing the educational progress of RMC and RSELC students, the management of RMC articulates the approach appropriate to the market segment this institution caters by providing a quality learning environment
MODE OF LEARNING
Under the new normal, RMC will carry out a No Face-To-Face instruction. All course requirements in all levels, from Basic Education to Higher Education including the School of Law and Graduate school, will be accomplished at home. This is to keep students safe from any COVID19 infection in compliance with mandates from the IATF, CHED, DepEd TESDA and the City Government of Davao.
RMC will adopt a flexible learning mode of delivery while considering the students needs, resources, and capabilities. Delivery mode may be online interaction, pre-recorded lectures, modular approach, or asynchronous remote learning scheme. Mode of delivery may shift gradually depending on the IATF mandates.
To be equipped for this flexible mode of learning delivery, RMC and RSELC faculty members are currently preparing to redesign the curriculum with attentive formulation of the desired outcomes and required performance tasks. RMC allocates June and July for the preparation of modules learning guides, supplementary materials, and instructional media materials. To provide access to e-library resources, EBSCO and CE Logic online library services are made available
To monitor the progress of students learning, faculty members will utilize formative and other alternative forms of assessment. Summative assessment will be used at the end of the term regardless of learning delivery mode applied. This is to ensure that the desired quality of education is achieved
ACADEMIC SUPPORT SERVICES
Under the aegis of the new normal, Guidance and Student Development services will continue to be provided in a flexible mode through online and other forms of connectivity
