The Rizal Memorial Colleges Inc. on the “Scholar ng Barangay” Program

The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. presents the “Scholar ng Barangay” program in coordination with the Liga ng mga Barangay sa Pilipinas, together with the barangays in the City of Davao.

Career development discussions have become increasingly crucial for exploring career interests and possibilities. Students must receive career counseling in school to become better prepared for life.

With this, RMC is offering different scholarships for students in Davao City to continue their studies. The RMC admin and the officials from different barangays aim to be of service in the educational sector and are pleased to grant complete scholarship programs to deserving students from public schools.

The Scholar ng Barangay program is open to all incoming Grade 11 Senior High School students from public schools. However, they must be residents from the different barangays in Davao City to avail themselves of the program.

This scholarship grant will be effective until the 12th grade. It is a two-year scholarship with no tuition, no matriculation, no down payment upon enrollment and no financial involvement with The Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc.

Applicants may go directly to their respective barangay to inquire about the program. Qualified scholars will then choose between an Academic Track and a Technical-Vocational Track. Scholarship grantees will also enjoy the new Learning Management System (LMS) used by RMC, QUIPPER Philippines.

QUIPPER provides e-Learning services for K-12 in Japan, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Mexico. In addition to online schooling, RMC’s efforts to make the transition to the new normal education system as smooth as possible focus on blended learning. The school allows a mix of Internet and modular educational materials to ensure students learn effectively during unprecedented times.

Aside from STEM education, students learn social and emotional skills, get exercise and have access to mental health and other school support services. For more information on how to become a bonafide Rizalian, contact us!
