The 33rd National Assembly of the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities Accrediting Council, Inc. (ACSCU-ACI) was held on May 17-19, 2018 at the Ritz Hotel Garden Oases, Porras Street, Brgy. Obrero, Davao City. This assembly was participated by the different colleges and universities nationwide. Mean-while, Davao Christian High School, Davao City was chosen as a host school of which Rizal Memorial Colleges represented by Dr. Evangeline P. Yap, DR. Pablo F. Busquit, and Ms. Liliosa P. Moneva served as one of the local committees in that prestigious affair
This 33rd ACSCU-ACI National Assembly unveiled its theme: Accreditation Standards and Educational Reform: Adopting to Paradigm Shifts. “This was highlighted by Dr. Raul C. Alwarez, Jr., Regional Director XI, Commission on Higher Education as key-note speaker in the first day session on “CHED program Trusts in Meeting the Challenges of the new Educational Reforms”. In the same path, “DepEd Program Thrusts in Meeting the Challenges of the New Educational Refoms, was deliberately delivered by atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, Regional Director XI, Department of Education.
Awarding ceremony was the most awaited highlight of the program. In its amazing grace of God, Rizal Memorial Colleges bagged the awards, viz.: Level III Accreditation status was granted to master of Arts in Education Program , Liberal Arts Program and Business Administration Program. On the other and, The Criminology Program received Level I accreditation. These awards of recognition were received by RMC delegates, namely: Dr. Lourdes C. Cabintoy, Dr. Betonio, Dr Lacuesta, Dr. Busquit, Dr. Calla, Dr. Yap, Prof. Moneva, and Prof. Miclat. Tis recognition undergirded with faithful Christian Values towards institutional and national growth and development. On its closing ceremony, Professor Angelito P. Pedreno, Executive Diector of ACSCU-ACI, together with the board members, gave thanks to ALMIGHTY FATHER and to the delegates of 33rd National Assembly for the resounding success of the program.
In view of this success, it was a great experience and honor of Rizal Memorial Colleges (RMC) for being conferred with a high level of accreditation. The award was a product of the team efforts of people assigned in the nine (9) areas of accreditation with the whole hearted support of the Administration, Staff and students of the institution in general perspectives. All these awards are attributed to the tender-loving-care of our President, Dr. Evelyn Abellera Magno.
Kudos to all accredited programs of RMC for another milestone of success! Keep on soaring high and keep up the good work always. This is the precious moment of the college on its accredited status. MABUHAY! Pro Deo et Patria.
