The List of Winners!

Book Character Costume Contest

1st Place

Rhianna Dhennz Dacay Anajao – Kinder 2 -Daisy

Book Character: ELSA (FROZEN)

I chose the character of Elsa in the movie frozen because I like her dress. She has a beautiful long white hair and above all she has power just like my Mommy. What makes us different is often the same thing that makes us unstoppably powerful, unique, and amazing. I have also learned that love is the most powerful magic of all.

2nd Place

Lauren Blessy Heart A. Bauca – Grade IV-Cadena de Amor

Book Character: Mulan

Mulan represents a normal woman with hopes and dreams. A woman who wanted to overcome and show that she wasn’t in any way inferior to men. The lessons we can learn from Mulan is to embrace your own identity, defy what society expects and present your true self to the world.

3rd Place

Jhia Kyle C. Rollon – Grade 3- Chrysanthemum

Book Character: Cinderella

Since I was a bit younger, I want to be a princess just like every little girls dream. And her story is about Hope. Anyone who is going through hard times can look at Cinderella and hope that someday they will be rewarded for enduring and rise. It gives hope that some supposed commoner like Cinderella can rise and become queen. Cinderella teaches the morals of kindness towards all, forgiving others for doing wrong, and never letting bad things ruin your heart.
