Empowering The Next Generation of Nation-Builders RMC NSTP-CWTS Graduation 2025

In a heart-stirring ceremony held on June 9, 2025, at the RMC Petro Gazz Arena, hundreds of Rizalians marched forward both literally and figuratively as they graduated from the National Service Training Program – Civic Welfare Training Service (NSTP-CWTS). With the theme “Empowering NSTP Rizalians for a Sustainable Community Engagement Amidst Crises!”, the event was not only a celebration of academic accomplishment but also a moving testament to youth commitment in nation-building and community service, especially during times of uncertainty and need.

The arena came alive with pride and emotion as students, faculty, and institutional partners gathered for the momentous occasion. The academic procession was led by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Alminda M. Fernandez, alongside esteemed academic leaders such as Dr. Annbeth B. Calla, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Dr. Agnes Mascarinas, Dean of the College of Teacher Education; Prof. Cristina C. Ariate, NSTP Coordinator; and dedicated NSTP faculty members. Their presence underscored the institution’s strong commitment to molding socially responsible and community-driven citizens. Adding to the depth of the occasion was the inspirational message delivered by Dr. Liza Cruda-Suan, Education Program Supervisor of CHED Region XI, who emphasized the power of leadership through civic duty and collective action.

The audio-visual showcase of NSTP-CWTS accomplishments, featuring students’ community projects, outreach efforts, and firsthand testimonials, was perhaps the most captivating moment. As the graduates sang “At the Beginning,” it became clear this ceremony was more than just a rite of passage. It was a call to action for every Rizalian to continue serving, leading, and inspiring now as empowered citizens of a nation that needs them more than ever.
